April Scandinavian / Celtic Jams in Dell Rapids

Hi all,

It's official... we will continue the Dell Rapids jam sessions into April. 

Sunday afternoons, but switching to 2nd and 4th Sundays 

(APRIL ONLY).

Time and location will be the same:   1-4 pm, Dell Rapids Historical Museum

Fiddle Jam in Dell Rapids, SD is on for this Sunday March 20th, 2016

 

Time is 1-4 pm.      T

 

 Location is the Dell Rapids Historical Museum 

                        407 E 4th St, Dell Rapids

This will be public and open to all levels.

Back in Operation

Just a note to let everyone know that this blog is going to be back up and running again.  Looking forward to posting about Fiddle Music and acoustic music get-togethers in South Dakota again.

Big Ball in Dawson, MN

 A group from the Fiddlers of South Dakota and the South Dakota Old-Time Fiddlers got together on Friday night October 16 and played for a dance at the VFW in Dawson, MN.  Matt Tyler was in fine form for the gig in his hometown.

East River & Missouri Valley Bluegrass Association Jam in December

Don't forget about this music gathering down in Vermillion,  It's usually the second Sunday of the month.  This is their blurb about December's Jam. 

"Anyone is welcome.

Next jam is Sunday, December 8th

@ 1pm @ the Vermillion Art Center, 202 Washington Street, Vermillion, SD.

$4 facility charge or association membership for $20."

Trust me, spend the $20 right away  'cause you'll be going back for more. ( I did, even though it's 200 miles for me to get there. )
